Job Requirements / Description

Blumen is building software to streamline permitting, compliance, and regulatory hurdles for project developers and EPC companies powering renewables and infrastructure development in the US.

Initial interest in our permitting platform is high, and there are many downstream opportunities as we perfect the platform. We’re looking for motivated players to help us build our world-class platform that will help empower clean energy developers breeze through the regulatory process, soup to nuts.

What we're looking for

Culture

We're on the hunt for engineers who are deeply passionate about tackling difficult problems with the number one goal of building an amazing product. No problem is too difficult if it will result in the best user experience.

Our ideal candidate has strong CS fundamentals, but leaves their ego at the door. You tinker, build, and push the limits of what’s possible. You may have a side project or two that you wrote just because you wanted to.

You bounce between languages and frameworks that are best fit for the job, and do not have allegiance to one or the other. You’re intellectually honest and open to feedback. On the contrary, you’re not afraid to provide feedback or suggestions. You own your work, your mistakes, and take accountability. You are eager to grow your responsibilities and expertise as needed by the team.
