Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Chairperson for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Summit, New Jersey

Atlantic Health System, one of the largest non-profit healthcare networks in New Jersey, is seeking a physician to lead the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Overlook Medical Center. The Chairperson of Ob/Gyn will provide clinical and administrative leadership to attending physicians, as well as the Atlantic Health System Ob/Gyn residents. The Chairperson will collaborate with nursing staff to ensure an exceptional patient experience while driving innovation and excellence in women's healthcare.

Responsibilities:

The Chairperson is responsible for all aspects of the Department which includes oversight of department growth, quality and safety, management of perioperative services, education, and research. To maintain clinical skillset and strong credibility within the Department, t he role includes an expectation to remain clinically active (50%) .
