Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team. This position plays a pivotal role in our organization, providing a high level of expertise in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. You will be responsible for reconciliation, financial reporting, accounts payable invoicing, and accounts receivable. This position will provide you with an opportunity to showcase your advanced Microsoft Excel skills and apply your corporate accounting experience in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

1. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary.
2. Analyze and report on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, budget preparation and analysis.
3. Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
4. Help spearhead ERP implementation
5. Manage the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, purchase orders, petty cash, core employee expense reports, cash control, payroll processing, and total corporate payroll tax compliance.
6. Day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner.
7. Develop and maintain regular reports via the company’s accounting system.
8. Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company.
9. Interpret the company's financial results to management and recommend improvement activities.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 4-5 years of corporate accounting experience.
2. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
4. Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Knowledge of QuickBooks and N4 Systems experience is a plus
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
