Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant-Big Data environments (cloud, on-prem, hybrid).
Role:
Requires to work with strong ability to quickly learn and comprehend business processes and problems in order to effectively support Big Data environments (cloud, on-prem, hybrid).
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design and growth of our Data Products and Data Warehouses around Content Performance and Content Engagement data.
- Design and develop scalable data warehousing solutions, building ETL pipelines in Big Data environments (cloud, on-prem, hybrid).
- Our tech stack includes AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, Spark and Airflow.
- Help architect data solutions/frameworks and define data models for the underlying data warehouse and data marts.
- Collaborate with Data Product Managers, Data Architects and Data Engineers to design, implement, and deliver successful data solutions.
- Maintain detailed documentation of your work and changes to support data quality and data governance.
- Ensure high operational efficiency and quality of your solutions to meet SLAs and support commitment to our customers (Data Science, Data Analytics teams).
- Be an active participant and advocate of agile/scrum practice to ensure health and process improvements for your team.
- Develop database objects like PL/SQL packages, tables, stored procedures, triggers that are used for meeting the business objectives.
- Hands-on experience of working in Cloud technologies – AWS/Azure/GCP.
- End to end data and analytics solutions design experience using cloud technologies - AWS S3, Spark, EMR, Data bricks, MPP databases, Redshift/Snowflake right from Ingestion to Transformation to Consumption using various methods including API delivery.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation/Bachelor’s. 7+ years of experience in the IT industry.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, Spark and Airflow.
- Big Data Environments (cloud, on-prem, hybrid).
- Hadoop (HDFS, Hive, Presto, PySpark).
- PL/SQL.
