IT Director
On-Site, Miami based role
Talento has partnered with an organization that has a presence across the globe on the search for an IT Director. We are seeking a strategic individual who can put a roadmap together to ensure all IT Infrastructure; including networks, servers, storage, security, applications, etc. function effective and can scale as the company continues to grow. You'll be responsible for implementing IT projects, manage all aspects of IT service delivery to include the development of new technical solutions, as well as the supporting and maintaining existing applications and development.
Responsibilities
- Manage IT services, suppliers, vendors; ensuring we have the right people and companies in place to succeed.
- Develop a clear IT strategy, providing technology solutions and recommendations in support of implementing and executing the company's strategy within the annual budget.
- Drive IT project delivery, using technical knowledge to ensure that vendor proposals and delivery is in the best interest of the organization and carried out according to terms.
- Manage IT support contracts and services, ensuring IT enhances the daily work and any failures cause minimum impact.
- Define, implement, and monitor effective IT service level agreements with all suppliers.
- Establish and maintain a robust security protocol to safeguard data and infrastructure.
- Develop and enforce IT policies company wide.
- Manage the procurement of hardware and equipment, evaluating vendors and negotiating contracts for cost-effective purchases.
- Act as the senior business point of escalation for IT related issues to end-users, providing communication to all stakeholders and managing the relevant providers to ensure a timely resolution.
- Ensure the business manages and reduces technology risk, including cyber security through monitoring, solutions, and education.
- Review the existing technology platforms and recommend ways to streamline processes, platform usage, and technology enhancements for short and long term growth of the company.
Requirements
- 10+ years managing technology systems with experience in Service Management and Infrastructure
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Proven success in the delivery of complex and high profile infrastructure projects
- Experience in contract management
- Proven recent experience in defining, leading, and delivering IT roadmaps aligned to business needs
- Knowledge and experience in information security
- Broad technical knowledge of MS Windows, Azure, O365, end user computing, network, telephony, and other systems
- Experience managing P&L, SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics
