Responsibilities

Keysight Technologies is a top supplier of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software for communications product design. Keysight EDA provides advanced design tools for electronic communication and semiconductor manufacturers, chip designers, and R&D integrators to help them efficiently in their electronic design modeling and simulation. Our engineers are top EDA software experts who support and help scientists and engineers address their design work with precision and confidence. With our help, our customers are better able to deliver the breakthroughs to make a measurable difference in the world.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Strategic Portfolio Accounts Sales team within Keysight at the forefront of Keysight's software strategy. As an SAE at Keysight, you will be responsible for sales adoption, retention & expansion of Keysight EDA software solutions at our Department of Defense and Aerospace customers. You will work closely with them to drive strategic wins providing value to our customers with an integrated Customer Experience. Along with your sales and business expertise, you will also understand how to best partner with all entities internal and external to drive ultimate customer success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated skills in leading and influencing across enterprise organizations to achieve high growth in sales.
  • Drive a calculated vision for the account with an accompanying account plan to direct both organizations to a more strategic partnership for long-term adoption and deployment of Keysight EDA software.
  • Enthusiasm to sell, establish, and expand Keysight EDA solutions within customers' design flow(s) specifically in US Government entities such as the Department of Defense and Aerospace Defense Prime Contractors.
  • Deliver value to our customers by understanding their KPIs to drive success with Keysight software and solutions.
  • Some product/industry knowledge and should be able to discuss business goals/initiatives and value details with customers.
  • Lead a world-class team of solutions engineers and industry experts in your accounts. Thrive in this world-class organization, which has a genuine culture of teamwork.
  • Prioritize new business, design, and technical activities and be able to articulate customer's design flow, gaps, and opportunities for the technical team.
  • Promote new solutions, products, and capabilities through direct customer engagements. Promote key Keysight EDA solutions to primarily an Aerospace & Defense audience with a focus on our MMIC, RFIC, electromagnetic, and system-level solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Experience/Knowledge working with the Department of Defense specifically the US Army, US Navy, and US Airforce and Aerospace/Defense Prime Contractors.
  • Excellent communication skills, and strong interaction skills with customers.
  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience in the CAD industry or related field.
  • Knowledge of concepts related to RF/Microwave and/or Electronic System Level designs.
  • Knowledge of Keysight EDA tools like ADS, SystemVue, and/or other industry EDA tools.
  • Work well leading in a team environment, being both self-motivated and collaborative to achieve sales goals.
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
  • Experience with closing multi-year large enterprise contracts.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Business related fields.
  • General knowledge of RFIC or MMIC design flows.
  • Proven expertise in Sales with the EDA industry.
  • Experience working in/with the Department of Defense / US Government Labs or Aerospace/Defense contractors.

Location:

  • Preferred location in Eastern US for this remote work position.
