Red Cedar Homes is seeking a dedicated and professional Warranty Representative to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for addressing post-construction customer concerns, ensuring that

all warranty requests are managed efficiently and resolved to the highest standard. The ideal

candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, exceptional customer service

skills, and the ability to coordinate repairs and service requests with internal teams and

subcontractors. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a positive,

solution-oriented mindset. As a Warranty Representative, you'll be the key point of contact for

homeowners, ensuring their satisfaction through timely communication and follow-up on all warranty

items. This is a fast-paced, dynamic position where embracing change and maintaining a positive,

professional demeanor is essential.


Primary Responsibilities

• Customer Interaction & Service Requests: Obtain and review service requests from

homeowners, scheduling appointments to assess warranty-related items. Meet with

homeowners to discuss and understand their concerns regarding post-construction issues.

Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners regarding warranty issues. Provide

timely and professional responses to inquiries and concerns

• Work Coordination & Scheduling: Coordinate with subcontractors, trades, and internal teams

to schedule repair work needed to address homeowner concerns. Ensure timely and effective

completion of all work.

• Issue Resolution & Follow-Up: Ensure all warranty issues are addressed to the homeowner's

satisfaction. Follow up on completed work, performing inspections as necessary to confirm

quality and compliance with company standards.

• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of service requests, completed work,

and communication with homeowners. Provide regular updates to management and ensure all

warranty requests are resolved within designated timelines.

• Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement: Conduct inspections to identify areas of

improvement and ensure that completed repairs meet the company's standards for quality.

Provide feedback to the construction team to help prevent future warranty issues.

• Customer Satisfaction: Maintain a professional, positive, and courteous demeanor when

interacting with homeowners, addressing their concerns efficiently and with empathy.

• Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Embrace changes in schedule or demand, demonstrating

flexibility and a proactive approach in solving problems as they arise.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with construction teams, subcontractors, and management

to ensure smooth resolution of all warranty claims and enhance the overall customer

experience.

• Other duties as assigned.


Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or similar role, preferably in the home

construction industry

• Detail-oriented & highly organized

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Self-motivated and able to adhere to a schedule

• New construction or builder experience preferred

• Customer Focused, composed, patient, and approachable

• Problem solver

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Possess a valid Driver’s License and vehicle insurance and willingness to travel locally as

needed.

• Clean background

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, standard daytime hours; 8 am - 5 pm. Occasional weekend work may be

required.


Job Type:

• Full-time position, averaging 40 hours per week.


Salary Range:

$60,000-$75,000

Ability to Commute/Relocate:

• Charlotte, NC: Ability to reliably commute or willingness to relocate before starting work

(Required).

Work Environment:

• Office-based environment with a business casual dress code. Standard office equipment, such

as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines, are used in this role.


Physical Demands:

• The role requires the ability to talk and hear, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach

with hands and arms. Occasional lifting of office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds, may

be necessary. Some travel might be required.
