As a Project Manager (PM) for Elcora Engineering Solutions, you are responsible for leading a team of engineers to complete projects by set deadlines to meet client needs and business initiatives. Your duties include dividing the budget and allocating funds toward different project aspects. The PM should advocate for additional funding when necessary, select project team members, and set or adjust project schedules to adhere to deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Create long and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
- Delegate tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them.
- Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for project progression.
- Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure synergy.
- Communicate with partners to keep the project aligned with their goals.
- Perform quality control throughout development to maintain expected standards.
- Adjust schedules and targets as needs or financing for the project change.
- Understand the full project life cycle.
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail.
- Facilitation of team building, collaboration, and organization.
- Experience with budgeting.
- Risk management.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Successful negotiation techniques.
- This is not a fully remote position; you must meet the team in person and walk local job sites.
- A valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's of Arts in Management or related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
