We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Gameplay Engineer to join our new team. You will work on various systems for a PC/Console game with Unreal Engine 5, participate in game design discussions, and playtest the game with the team.
What you’ll get to do:
- Implement gameplay systems in UE5
- Help with UI, sound, networking, etc. if needed
- Optimizing game performance
- Playtest the game and provide feedback
Requirements:
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience
- Enthusiasm in playing games
- Fluency in C++ with at least 3 years of experience
- Solid 3D math skills
- Demonstrated past experience in working on AAA online games
- Experience in combat, camera, and player control systems
Pluses:
- Experience with Unreal or Unity engine
- Experience with first person shooter games
- Experience with free to play games
- An engineering or science degree

The base pay range for this position in California is $92,400 to $193,200 per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
