Travel Nurse (RN) – ICU (Intensive Care Unit) – Glendale, Arizona – 893582

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ICU

Length: 13 Weeks

4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks, 2 out of 3 major holidays

Requirements:

• AZ license
• 2 years’ experience
• Must have strong general Medical & Surgical ICU experience
• ACLS, BLS

Other Details:

• Float to MS Tele and ED Holds (2 Main)
• Float to MedSurg or possibly to MICU
• EMR: Cerner
• Ratios: 1 to 2 if ICU patients; 1 to 3 if MedSurg patients. The acuity of the patients on this unit is less than the acuity of the ICU patients. Typically staffed with 2 nurses for 4+ patients. Will flex to tele, ratio 1:4 if no ICU patients.

Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Vasoactive drips, vent weaning per protocol, some CHF (unstable), Sepsis.
