Our client is looking for an organized and goal-oriented Pension Actuarial Consultant to provide technical support to their clients. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a wide range of actuarial projects and be able to work well within a team in an environment of constantly changing priorities.

Responsibilities:

1. Actuarial valuations for pension plans
2. Funding forecasts
3. IRS/DOL Notices (AFN, IRS Certifications)
4. Form 5500 actuarial schedules
5. Pension benefit calculations and statements
6. Plan documents and summary plan descriptions

Preferences:

1. 4-7 years of defined benefit pension experience
2. Strong proficiency with Excel
3. Experience with multiemployer plans a plus
4. Experience with Proval a plus
5. Actuarial or non-actuarial exam track
