Position Overview:

PruTech is looking to hire a Technology Sales Executive who can hit the ground running and help drive growth for new clients. This candidate will report to the EVP of Enterprise Technology Services and will have ownership of his or her deal cycles and quota. We are interested in candidates within traveling distance to one of our office locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving technology services and solution-based sales, with a focus on financial services. This role requires excellent understanding of technology, strategic mindset, strong network of connections, excellent communication skills, and a track record of success in sales within the financial industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Sales Strategies:
  • Identify and target potential BFSI clients and market segments for services, products, platforms and solution-based sales.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between sales efforts and service / solutions offerings and initiatives.
  1. Lead Generation and Prospecting:
  • Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends (like Gen AI, CyberSecurity), customer needs, and competitive insights.
  1. Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at prospective and existing client organizations.
  • Understand client needs, pain points, and business challenges to tailor solutions that address their specific requirements.
  • Conduct technical solution demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition of our offerings.
  1. Sales Negotiation and Closure:
  • Drive the sales process from initial contact through negotiation, contract signing, and close.
  • Develop and present proposals, quotes, and pricing agreements that align with client expectations and company objectives.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for both the client and the company.
  1. Sales Reporting and Analysis:
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and deal status in Salesforce.
  • Generate regular reports and analytics to track sales performance, identify trends, and evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement based on sales data analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in BFSI technology sales,
  • Strong understanding of technology services and solution-based sales processes.
  • Vast understanding of the financial services industry.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
