Summary

Job Description
This Data Visualization Analyst will pull, analyze and build data visualizations for business intelligence to allow critical changes to be seen and actioned within a discrete manufacturing environment. This person will also utilize SharePoint to create collaborative environments for the division collaboration and workflow, work with teams across the organization to understand their data, and create new ways of viewing it during various operations reviews, to have actionable intelligence that allows them to drive action and Proceed with Certainty.

Position Responsibilities

  • Build visualizations, models, and metrics from conception to dashboard using specialist tools such as SplashBI, SharePoint, Oracle, SQL and/or VBA/Excel dashboards
  • Transform data sets, quantitative, and qualitative analyses into compelling visuals
  • Work with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Continuous Improvement teams to understand monitoring needs and execute upon that guidance
  • Provide visual, technical, and editorial expertise and proposals for implementation
  • Identify data sources and appropriate ways to analyze data
  • Work with managers and engineers to establish briefs for data-related projects
  • Create and edit visual content to include maps, charts, graphs, and custom VBA driven Excel files that result in actionable data views for teams
  • Meets deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Manages projects, often using agile methodology
  • Indirectly manages our people with a positive collaborating mindset to gain buy-in and develop projects through execution and implementation of controls
  • Interface with IT and ERP Team to implement data collection and system updates to support improved business intelligence
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or 5-8 years of equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Developer and data science experience
  • Strong work ethic, excellent use of discretion and judgment
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards
  • Experience working in a collaborative, team based environment
  • Knowledge of SharePoint tools and forms to create dynamically linked projects

The Salary Range For This Role Is
$102,300 - $173,800
