Join our client's dynamic team and become a key player in crafting precision tools and dies. Your expertise will ensure the highest quality production and seamless operations. Here's what you'll be doing:

• Build intricate tools and dies from part prints, sketches, reference parts, or detailed instructions, showcasing your craftsmanship and attention to detail.
• Operate state-of-the-art tool room machinery with a commitment to safety and precision during the build process.
• Perform critical repairs on progressive dies, manually operated dies, and various tooling, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot dies on the bench, making necessary corrections to maintain high standards.
• Support tryouts and prepare for production runs after die steel or tool installations, ensuring everything is ready for seamless operations.
• Enhance press room operations by servicing die sets, troubleshooting dies, and making corrections directly in the press when possible. Utilize SPC data to ensure dimensional integrity and document adjustments.
• Collaborate with both internal and external customers, participate in problem-solving teams, and address customer and supplier concerns effectively.
• Champion SPECS, TQM, MOS, and Safety programs, contributing to a culture of excellence and safety.
• Maintain impeccable housekeeping standards, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
• Take proactive measures to prevent nonconformities related to product, process, and quality systems, ensuring top-notch quality control.
• Mentor and support Tool & Die Apprentices, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them excel in their roles.
