General Laborer - Medical Implant Manufacturing
Responsibilities:
- Set up and safely operate Waterjet Cutting machine following established procedures.
- Visually inspect metal parts for minor defects and perform corrective actions like deburring, buffing, cleaning, and polishing.
- Clean metal parts following established washing procedures.
- Input data and communicate effectively in ERP system and other assigned applications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent.
- Ability to stand and perform manual tasks for up to 10-12 hours per day.
- Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling parts, tools, and controls.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds frequently.
- Possess good vision, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus on optical devices.
- Adherence to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) to ensure accurate and complete record keeping.
- Ability to work safely near machinery and potentially hazardous materials.
- Strong reading comprehension skills to understand manufacturing instructions.
- Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
- Interest in Learning CNC Machining and/or Quality Inspection preferred.
