Job Summary:
As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be a key part of our leadership team, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, order, and guest satisfaction. You will oversee daily housekeeping operations, manage and inspire a dedicated team, and work collaboratively with other departments to maintain our luxury reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas meet the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our quality standards.
• Train, mentor, and manage housekeeping staff to foster a positive work environment and enhance team performance.
• Collaborate with the Director of Housekeeping to develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and quality assurance programs.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, ensuring cost-effective ordering and usage.
• Respond to and resolve guest inquiries and complaints promptly, maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols, as well as relevant regulations and hotel standards.
• Track, analyze, and report on housekeeping performance metrics, recommending improvements as needed.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 2 years in a management role at a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, equipment, and inventory management.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for maintaining the highest standards.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in Opera is needed
