Good news! 1WorldSync is looking for a Manager, Business Development to join our team in Chicago, IL.

1WorldSync is the industry leader in Product Content Orchestration. With approximately 700 employees across the US, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Portugal, Switzerland, and the UK, we’re seeking a Manager, Business Development to support our growing global team.

Reporting directly to our Chief Marketing Officer, the Manager, Business Development will lead a team of Sales Development Representatives responsible for prospecting and setting qualified sales meetings which result in new revenue quota achievement. You are data-driven, with expertise on top of the funnel activities and pipeline metrics. Your success in generating clear and tangible ROI will lead to growth and investment in the team. You excel at coaching and motivating a team, and have experience in hiring top BDR/SDR talent.

As Manager, Business Development at 1WorldSync, responsibilities include the following:

  • Hire, train, mentor and performance manage a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) who are at an early stage in their sales careers.
  • Refine and evolve a scalable, measurable, and predictable process for running and growing the team.
  • Regularly review and report on metrics, sales activity and productivity to manage and predict performance.
  • Work with the Manager, Sales Enablement to create training programs that result in high performing BDRs who quickly ramp up.
  • Coach BDRs to consistently meet quotas and performance goals.
  • Closely partner with leaders and sellers on performance, meeting quality, messaging and more to maximize the effectiveness of the BDR team and the broader revenue organization.

Required Skills And Experience

  • 3+ years of SaaS sales experience with a proven track record of over-achievement of quota expectations; extra points for marketing technology or ecommerce technology experience.
  • 1+ year of leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • Possess a passion for coaching and developing entry-level talent
  • Expertise in CRM utilization and ensuring BDR adoption

Additional Details

  • This is a hybrid position that requires 3 days per week at our Chicago headquarters location.
  • This role requires the candidate to have the authority to work in, and be located in the US.
  • This position requires up to 15% travel.
