Sure Sports is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Operations Manager to lead and optimize our company’s operations. This role is critical to ensuring that our business runs efficiently, supports our growth objectives, and helps launch new initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership, with a focus on operational excellence, and will play a pivotal role in supporting our credit, sales, marketing, and human resources functions. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this role offers a unique opportunity to influence the trajectory of Sure Sports in a dynamic and fast-paced industry.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations across all departments, including credit, sales, marketing, and human resources.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's growth objectives.
- Improve operational efficiency by streamlining processes and optimizing resource allocation.
- Lead and mentor operations team members to ensure high performance and continuous development.
- Collaborate closely with department heads to support the successful execution of company initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
- Drive innovation by identifying and implementing new operational initiatives.
- Work closely with the Strategic Partner Advisor to execute onboarding and processes when new opportunities are identified.
- Report regularly to the President on operational performance and progress towards goals.
- Generate, review, and prepare closing documents.
- Participate in loan closings and sometimes review the loan documents with the borrower.
- Regularly update software systems such as FileInvite, ProDeal, and Zoho.
- Participate in quarterly internal leadership meetings, providing insights and updates on operational strategies and performance.
Required Skills:
- Proven leadership experience with 5-7 years in an operations management role.
- Strong background in process optimization and operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Strategic thinking with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems (e.g., CRM, SharePoint, FileInvite, ProDeal, Teams).
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in fintech is a plus, but not required.
Desired Experience:
·Minimum of 5-7 years in a leadership role, preferably in operations management.
·Experience in fintech or related industries is advantageous.
Education Requirements: ·A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.Other Requirements: ·Ability to work in our Hollywood, FL office 25 hours per week. ·Ability to travel occasionally for work as needed.
