Job Requirements / Description
As Head of Finance, you will be the driving force ensuring that Anthro achieves our goals as efficiently and quickly as possible. You will work alongside the CEO to set budgets, goals, and strategic plans for Anthro’s future. You will oversee Anthro’s finance, business operations, HR, and administrative functions. You will get to help set the long-term plans for the company and drive towards their completion.
What you will do:
Own financial planning and analysis and budgeting
Own development of Anthro financial models for grants, fundraising, and strategic decision making
Oversee company KPI tracking, goal setting, and internal communication protocols
Identify and evaluate financial plans for large capital projects and strategic partnerships
Work alongside the CEO and company leadership to execute dilutive and non-dilutive fundraising processes
Manage Anthro’s business operations team, including full-time and part-time members in HR, finance, recruiting, and company administration
Manage and execute the ‘behind the scenes’ work required to ensure smooth company operation
‘Whatever it takes’ to push the company forward
Work in-person, on-site at Anthro’s pilot facility in Alameda
Requirements
Strong financial background and excitement about excel strongly preferred
Low-ego, willing to get your hands dirty at an early stage startup
7+ years experience in finance, corporate development, or consulting
2+ years of startup-specific experience preferred
Experience with large scale capital projects and CAPEX intensive businesses
B.S. or M.S. in finance, industrial engineering, business, engineering, or other related field
Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to hold technical and business team members accountable for deadlines and deliverables
Ability to craft clear and effective financial models, project management plans, and slide decks to evaluate and advance company initiatives
Consistent record of implementing well-run processes and systems with a foundation of turning data into actionable insights
Comfortable and enthusiastic working with complex technical details
Benefits
Competitive salary and equity compensation commensurate with experience. Expected salary range is $160,000 to $220,000
