Job Description Summary

The Senior Program Officer, Predevelopment Grants will help design and manage Power Forward Communities’ multifamily market building and predevelopment grants program. This staff member will serve as a thought partner and do-er as we build new ways to support owners and operators of multifamily affordable housing properties reach zero emissions across their portfolios. Predevelopment grant funding will be strategically deployed to build capacity of the sector to equitably decarbonize.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage RFPs and selection processes for capacity-building grant programs.
  • Oversee and track grantee’s performance to achieve successful grant outcomes.
  • Coordinate with operations team, evaluation team, and other stakeholders to ensure grant program success.
  • Support other relevant Power Forward Communities activities.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to advance climate risk reduction and healthy housing outcomes.
  • Support climate resilience programming and training series.
  • Provide support and thought leadership for climate-resilience initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred or combination of education and experience in related field.
  • Minimum of four years project management experience, preferably in community development and/or climate action.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with affordable housing and/or community development.
  • Experience with administering competitive grant programs preferred.

Total Rewards at Enterprise:

The base salary for this role is $85,000 to $90,000, depending on skills and experience.
