DHB Specialist- Junior


Location: Raleigh, NC (hybrid)

12 Month contract with opportunity for extension

W-2 only (cannot accommodate Corp-to-Corp or 1099)


Brooksource is searching for a Division of Health Benefits (DHB) Specialist to be responsible for the enrollment and credentialing of Medicaid Providers and help with technical operations within the unit.

Responsibilities:


  • Play an active role partnering with business leaders and teams to understand and drive technology/information requirements through internal and external service providers to achieve the required technology and information capabilities
  • Support Provider Operations activities to ensure the accurate, timely, and cost-effective implementation of new and existing processes and functionality in both the NCTracks system and the new Provider Data Management/Credentials Verification Organization (PDM/CVO) modules to include planning, requirements, prioritization, Customer Service Requests, service tickets, File Maintenance Requests, defects, training, and testing.
  • Participate and collaboration with other workgroups to collect and analyze data; assist with testing and validation of data and business processes; evaluate file layouts, risks of modifications, and downstream impacts to other systems; utilize systems to holistically research, identify and resolve errors with data transmission; prioritize needs of Provider Operations.
  • Participation in creating and maintaining Provider Operations reporting and dashboarding.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for the change control and technical processes used by Provider Operations

  • Ability to extrapolate conclusions from large data reports.
  • Proven ability in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to recommend modifications to program policy and procedure to minimize risk and/or improve effectiveness.
  • Ability to work independently and assess project and assignment requirements.
  • Ability to organize and follow complex and/or detailed technical procedures.
  • Adaptability and capability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and communicate in a clear and concise manner (written and oral).
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research, and documentation skills.


Requirements:


  • Education: Prefer degree in business administration, computer/data science, or related field or experience.
  • Experience/familiarity with following business procedures, audit processes, and corrective action.
