Position Overview:


The Infrastructure Regulatory Support Lead is a key role within the Infrastructure Risk and Control group that ensures any regulatory or external audit activities for the Infrastructure group are centrally coordinated and effectively managed to ensure timely and accurate responses. The role requires coordination with global teams and effective matrixed management of supporting staff.

Candidates must possess drive and ability to carve the path of this newly created role. Emphasis will be placed on their ability to coordinate multiple risk, control and reporting related activities within the Technology Infrastructure (TI) space. Ensuring all TI stakeholders are aware of all inquiries and provide timely and accurate responses will be a key tenant of this role. The ideal candidate will also need to have the ability to work with global partners to mature the internal governance around regulatory actions and their responses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formalize and manage an effective risk-minded Regulatory support function within the Technology Infrastructure space.

  • Provide strategic thinking, thought leadership, and guidance on how to effectively manage regulatory/external audit inquires and needed actions.

  • Develop and maintain reporting for the embedded control analysts effort and other key Support audit and other remediation efforts, including the development and implementation of supporting programs (e.g., training, monitoring, reporting).

  • Ability to successfully manage teams objectives, matrixed staff and scope with minimal oversight.

  • Establish strong working relationships and communications with key stakeholders globally with the ability to support a point of view.

Qualifications:

  • Proven Risk and Control Professional with 10+ years of Internal Audit or Risk Management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Services.
  • Solid understanding of financial services related regulations, risks and controls.
  • Internal Audit or Risk related Certification (CSIA, CIA, CRISK, etc.) a plus.
  • Internal Audit experience working at Big4 is a plus.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter who deals well with ambiguity and can drive execution.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, leadership and organizational skills are required.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, influence and motivate teams across the organization in order to ensure that the slate of work is established, understood, supported and completed.
  • Ability to challenge and influence stakeholders of differing viewpoints to reach consensus.
