Senior Manager, Accounting Digital Transformation

Job Summary

DENSO is looking for an energetic and dynamic leader to lead the North American Finance and Accounting (NAFA) Digitalization team. This position is responsible for creating the strategy and direction to achieve F&A excellence. Partner with other F&A leaders to implement transformational improvements using strong change management practices. A key member of the F&A Process Excellence Team focused on process, system, and digital automation. Partners and collaborates with regional and global management teams to drive global standards.

Responsibilities

1. Creates DX strategy, roadmap, direction, rules, change management and monitoring. Aligns with regional DX direction.
2. Drives NAFA excellence and change through North America and potential globally.
3. Works across North America companies focusing on standard processes, systems and digitalization.
4. Utilizes NAFA Excellence Team and key F&A resources for modernization, associate development and efficiency.
5. Works with NAFA leadership to evaluate opportunities to establish team goals, targets, monitoring of progress and outcomes.
6. Collaborates with all NAFA leaders and stakeholders to execute annual automation plan.
7. Establishes goals and manages budget with each F&A department.
8. Leads NAFA Process Excellence Team - prioritizes, assigns resources, monitors progress, milestone achievement, quality, result achievement, change management and training.
9. Builds capability and comfort level with automation tools to drive excellence and strengthen credibility cross-functionally.
10. Partners with other PE teams throughout NA for alignment and sharing of modern methods to achieve excellence.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
2. Broad knowledge of Accounting practices and principles.
3. 15+ years in Finance and/or Accounting.
4. 7 yrs. experience with cross-functional improvement project.
5. 7 yrs. experience with Finance and/or Accounting transformational projects using advanced tools and technology.
6. Previous experience leading teams required.
7. Previous industry experience preferred.

Salary $160,000-$183,000.
