Since 1998, Nations Realty has been the guiding light for clients from diverse
backgrounds and nations as they navigate the intricate landscape of home ownership.
Led by Kennedy Akinlosotu, Nations Realty LLC helps clients create a personal profile
that makes home ownership attainable and provides exquisite customer service for
those selling their home. In 2021, we established a 501 c (3) non-profit organization
called United Housing Resources, aimed to provide education, networking, and financial
assistance to those wishing to become ready to purchase a home.

The Position:
Nations Realty is seeking an energetic, resourceful, and motivated individual to serve as
our Office Manager. In this outward-facing role, you will be the initial face of our
organization, responsible for organizing and managing daily operations. You are a
proactive self-starter with strong multitasking abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage phone communications and client interactions
Prepare and organize essential documents
Maintain and update paperwork efficiently and communicate with relevant people
in the process
Oversee website management and updates
Organize and attend occasional community events (evenings or weekends)
Assist with tasks associated with United Housing Resources when needed
Occasional interactions with tenants (receiving payment)
Record and update transactions
Maintain a professional office environment
Follow up communication with leads
Promote houses and events on the company's social media
Handle various activities related to office operations
Key Skills Include:
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects
Clear and thoughtful written and oral communication skills
High level of empathetic interpersonal skills, especially with individuals for whom
English may a second language
Demonstrated commitment to high ethical standards and an equitable workplace
Technologically adept and comfortable using Microsoft Office products, Slack,
Zoom, and Google suite (including Drive). Familiarity with Dropbox, online task
management software, and donor databases preferred
Capability to work well under tight deadlines
Initiative to identify tasks during slower periods and work independently
Sensitivity to cultural differences, as many of our clients come from diverse
backgrounds
Eagerness to learn and adapt
Value and respect client confidentiality
Commitment to continuous learning, personal and professional growth
Familiarity with the real estate profession or a desire to become a realtor is a
plus!
Experience and Requirements:
Education level: high school graduate, 2-4 year higher education a plus
Experience working in an office environment
Experience working face to face, over phone, and email with customers
Although not required, experience within the real estate industry a plus
Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds.
Must be able to work at a computer or desk area for extended periods of time.
Must be able to use a computer.
Must have your own transportation
What to expect in the first 30 days:
In the first 30 days you will learn the company's history, mission, day-to-day processes
and set goals for the first six months. This can include learning client intakes, document
processing, filing systems (paper and digital), updating and maintaining websites,
developing community events and various buying and selling needs throughout the
transaction process.
In the first six months:
You will have a good understanding of the process of real estate transactions,
effectively document, review and create necessary documentation and have assisted
with creating community events. We'll review accomplishments and identify any
additional training needed. You have created relationships with others in the industry
that we work with throughout the transaction process and have established best
practices in client communications.
Compensation and Benefits:
You will learn the field of real estate and create great relationships within the
community. Should you have a desire to become a realtor or another profession in the
industry, we will help you move toward your goal.
This position is an hourly, non-exempt position. 35 hours a week, 9am to 5pm Monday
through Friday. Flexibility is required for the occasional evening or weekend event;
office hours will be adjusted accordingly.
Hourly rate: $22-27 per hour (depending on experience, skills and strengths)
Paid holidays per year: New Years Day, MLK Day, Memorial Day, July 4th , Labor Day,
Thanksgiving day, and Christmas day.
Vacation is accrued upon hire and may be used after six months of employment.
After one year, expenses are reimbursed to become a realtor (classes, testing, etc.)
Location:
This position works on site at our offices, located at 24860 Pacific Hwy S #201, Kent,
WA 98032. Typical workdays are Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm with an
occasional evening or weekend event.
