Summary:
As an Enterprise Architect, you will be a key member of our architecture team, responsible for providing strategic direction and technical expertise across multiple domains or technology areas. You will play a crucial role in shaping and optimizing the application and technology landscape within your domain, ensuring alignment with the organization's business goals and objectives. This position requires a deep understanding of the domain, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and scalable solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enterprise Architecture: Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the overall IT application and technology architectures including industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and other architects to define the domain's technology strategy and roadmap, ensuring it aligns with the overall enterprise architecture.
  • Solution Design: Lead the design and architecture of complex solutions across multiple domains, considering scalability, security, performance, and other architectural principles.
  • Standards and Guidelines: Establish and enforce architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality in solution delivery.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, guiding them in implementing solutions that adhere to the domain's architectural principles.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges across the organization and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other domain architects, enterprise architects, and stakeholders to ensure cross-domain and cross-functional alignment of architecture efforts.
  • Vendor and Technology Evaluation: Assess third-party solutions and technologies within your domain, making recommendations for adoption or integration.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams, design specifications, and technical documentation to support development teams.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and relevant certifications to enhance your expertise within the domain.

Minimum Qualifications:
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Required Experience:

  • 7-10 years or more of experience in a similar role BS/BA degree in IT, or equivalent level of work experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience related to application, solution, or enterprise architecture.

Preferred Experience: Enterprise Architect in a large Healthcare organization.

Preferred License/Registration/Certification: EA Framework certifications such as TOGAF.

Computer Skills Required:

  • Knowledge in Microsoft Word and Google Suite.
  • Experience with SQL, data sourcing, enterprise data management, modeling, business strategy, auditing and compliance, enterprise architecture frameworks and tools.
