Our team is looking for a Director, AOG (Aircraft on the Ground) & Exchange to join them. You will report to the MRO Director, Europe and will have a hybrid work structure at one of our US based sites.
To be considered for the Director, AOG & Exchange opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance or Business
  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in aerospace MRO operations
  • Knowledge of airline practice and contractual expectations
  • Knowledge of UK, EU and US import and export regulations preferred
  • Proven experience in AOG/Exchange management or a similar global logistics role preferred
  • Ability to travel globally when required
As a Director, AOG & Exchange, you will:
  • Be responsible for managing global distribution of Ontic owned AOG provisions and ensuring 24/7 AOG inquiries are supported
  • Establish Ontic's AOG/Exchange team
  • Develop process to ensure AOG inquiries are logged within CRM, assigned to appropriate Ontic personnel and tracked through closure
  • Ensure that the AOG/Exchange provision is manned and operated 24/7, 365
  • Manage the exchange core throughout the process, ensuring that core is returned from custom and following core through the repair cycle
  • Establish, monitor and report on KPIs for departmental performance
  • Lead the AOG/Exchange team and ensure we deliver an exceptional customer experience often in the face of challenging circumstances
  • Lead by example in being the face of Ontic globally for all AOG/Exchange's and out of hours operations
  • Work with the PMO team during transitions to ensure all licensor owned inventory is transferred and appropriately distributed
  • Regularly analyze the market and commercial activity to ensure the inventory levels are appropriate to meet customer requirements and provide opportunities through the SIOP process
  • Establish key relationships in the market to source Inventory at best market rates
  • Develop and manage working relationship with Ontic's warehousing and logistics 3rd party partner

Salary Range:
  • $160,000- 175,000/year, based on experience
