Job Description: As a Sales Manger at Wedding Shoppe Inc., you will play a crucial role in the overall operation of our Saint Paul location. You will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure the store runs efficiently and delivers outstanding customer service. Here are your primary responsibilities:
1. Team Management:

  • Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising store staff.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to create employee schedules.
  • Provide guidance and support to the team to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Conduct performance reviews and address any issues promptly and professionally.
2. Inventory Management:
  • Oversee inventory management processes, including receiving merchandise, price adjustments, and returns/exchanges.
  • Monitor inventory levels to meet customer demand and minimize stock shortages.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed to maintain product availability.
3. Problem Solving:
  • Handle unusual situations and customer issues with professionalism and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Implement solutions that prioritize customer satisfaction while aligning with company policies and standards.
4. Team Development:
  • Assist in training store staff by reviewing and revising orientation and sales training materials.
  • Conduct training sessions and ensure that staff members are well-versed in product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to identify learning needs and implement ongoing training programs.
5. Sales and Reporting:
  • Prepare sales and customer relations reports by analyzing and categorizing sales data.
  • Utilize data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement sales strategies.
6. Customer Relations:
  • Identify and investigate customer complaints and service suggestions.
  • Implement improvements and monitor customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service by enforcing organization standards.
