In this role you will:

• Collaborate with project managers or product owners to plan and prioritize tasks, estimate project timelines, and allocate resources.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
• Facilitate effective communication within the team and with stakeholders, conducting meetings and providing regular status updates.
• Mentor and support the professional growth of team members, identifying skill gaps and promoting learning and development.
• Interact with various stakeholders to understand requirements, gather feedback, and ensure expectations are met.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and staying updated with industry trends and technologies.

The Ideal Candidate

• In-depth understanding of Java dependencies.
• Comfortable with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experienced with migrations to Openshift and EKS.
• Comfortable being a mentor/evangelist to application teams.
• Knowledge/experience with automated code rewriters like Spring Boot Migrator, OpenRewrite, CAST Software, GitHub Dependabot.
• AWS experience.
