**Job Title:** CT Technologist
**Job Specialty:** Diagnostic Imaging
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Nights Friday-Sunday 1800-0600, Every Other Thursday 1800-0600
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours/week
**Experience:** At least one year of RT experience preferred
**License:** Current and unrestricted Radiologic Technologist Certification through the state Department of Health
**Certifications:** Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or an equivalent registry as a Rad Tech and CT Tech (required within one year of hire); BLS Certification
**Must-Have:** Comprehensive working knowledge of radiographic equipment, proficiency in Microsoft Office, professional communication skills, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
**Job Description:**
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment efficiently for medical diagnosis and treatment.
- Provide quality and compassionate care to patients.
- Position patients accurately, instruct on breathing control, and select appropriate technical factors.
- Operate X-Ray and CT equipment following established health and safety regulations.
- Perform clerical tasks including patient reception, documentation, report posting, and exam sign-out procedures.
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times, both on and off duty.
- Participate in the department's Quality Assurance program and perform assigned Quality Control tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness of exam rooms and adhere to infection control policies.
- Learn and enter patient information into the RIS.
- May engage in occasional patient scheduling for various imaging modalities.
- Support the organization’s mission, vision, and values by adhering to policies and conducting oneself in a professional and respectful manner.
- Attend department meetings and special meetings as required.
- Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned.
