As an Investment Banking Analyst specializing in the Technology Sector at Cantor Fitzgerald, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic and fast-paced team. Your primary responsibilities will encompass a wide range of financial and strategic activities across various sub-verticals within the Technology sector, with a focus on M&A advisory, equity, and debt capital markets. Your contributions will be instrumental in driving our clients' success and facilitating growth within the Technology industry. Your key responsibilities will include:


Responsibilities


  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including modeling, to assess investment opportunities and target company performance in the Technology sector.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on Technology industry trends and market dynamics, providing valuable insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Deal Support: Assist in M&A advisory, equity, and debt capital market transactions by preparing pitch materials, conducting due diligence, and contributing to deal structuring.
  • Valuation: Create and maintain complex financial models for company and asset valuations using various methodologies.
  • Client Engagement: Interact with clients, develop tailored financial solutions, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards throughout the deal process.


Qualifications:


  • 1 + years of Investment Banking experience
  • Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university with a minimum GPA of 3.5 or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent grasp of corporate finance, valuation, and financial accounting
  • Effective communication and teamwork.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel; Technology sector knowledge is a plus


Salary: $100,000 - $110,000


The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $110,000. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
