Overview:

The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing key financial accounting functions of our business. This position will work closely with the Corporate Controller and the CFO to ensure financial data is accurately recorded, reported, and analyzed. The Accounting Manager will have direct reports and will provide guidance and oversight for the key business processes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, direct, and optimize the month-end consolidation and financial close process
  2. Own the month end close process for several processes such as R&D capitalized labor, accounts payable, payroll, benefits, leases, intercompany transactions, consolidation, and costs among other corporate processes
  3. Coordinate, prepare, and review financial journal entries
  4. Guide and mentor direct reports
  5. Currency revaluation and foreign exchange monitoring
  6. Prepare and review complex accounting reconciliations
  7. Coordinate and assist in the financial statement audit, ensuring a smooth audit process
  8. Deep understanding of the general ledger and sub ledgers
  9. Complete monthly reconciliation of key accounts under areas of responsibility; identify and document anomalies
  10. Improve, optimize, and document financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  11. Prepare and review financial statements and relevant footnotes in accordance with GAAP
  12. Support management in providing necessary support and analysis for external inquiries
  13. Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  2. Mix of public accounting and private accounting
  3. SaaS/Software industry experience
  4. 6+ years of corporate accounting experience
  5. Ability to perform technical accounting research
  6. Technical and functional knowledge of NetSuite, MS Suite including Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook
  7. Confidence, good judgment, energy, and personality to work in a dynamic, multi-business unit environment across all levels of management and across business units, functions and geographies
  8. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. CPA license preferred
