We are a trusted business partner to the business for all Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Controlling topics. CF R NAM US maintains efficient accounting processes, provides transparency on financial data and ensures correct Books & Records. We also look for continuous process optimization and digitalization opportunities around the Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Controlling processes.We are looking for an experienced finance professional with a strong business affinity to ensure governance for the SI financial statements based on Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG), and to provide the business with accounting expertise for current and future transactions, projects or complex (new) business models.You’ll make a difference by:Ensure the accuracy of books and records in collaboration with Business Companies' management.Provide accounting expertise, transaction support, and assist in preparing IFRS-compliant financial statements.Advise on accounting and reporting matters for current and planned transactions, collaborating closely with CF R departments locally and globally. Being able to advise in non-routine transactions and execute an action planPrepare and discuss necessary business accounting memos.Support corporate and business projects, including M&A, reorganizations, and ERP integrations.Assist in the monthly close process, reviewing and approving journal entries based on Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG).Conduct monthly flux analyses for pre-reporting period financial review.Review and approve GL account reconciliationsFacilitate the external and internal audit requests. Provide information and transparency relating to financial reporting and accounting data.Evaluate and ensure compliance with Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines (IFRS principles).Monitor, analyze and review the Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow of the respective business company.Regularly review financial statements with the business, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow.Utilize digitization solutions and analytical dashboards to identify governance-related issues and enhance the quality of books and records.You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance5+ years of experience in accounting or controlling with focus on accounting related topics.Working knowledge of financial reporting (IFRS or US GAAP) or Siemens Financial reporting guidelines, especially project accounting.Knowledge of general ledger and sub-ledger systems with a strong preference towards SAP.Management reporting system experience in (ESPRIT, SMART, Hyperion Financial Management, or others).Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in Accounting or FinanceUnderstand broad-based accounting, controlling and financial concepts and ability to explain the implications to the business for decision makingAbility to work with multiple management levels in the business as well as the CF global organizationTeam player with excellent collaboration and communication skillsExperience regarding the application of systems, accounting knowledge or processes.CPA is a plus.You’ll benefit from: Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
