Provides care within nursing standards of practice and the policies of the Center. Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to physicians, patients, family members, and personnel in other departments as well as team members. May have additional responsibilities as designated by the Nurse Supervisor or Director of Nursing, which include, but are not limited to, serving on committees, participating in quality improvement audits and projects. This position requires providing service to a one or more age populations including an pediatric through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.   

Qualifications:
Pre/Post Circulator Requirements:Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.Physically and emotionally capable ofperforming responsibilities of position.

Two years' experience in critical care or equivalent; ICU/ER or in an Ambulatory setting

Graduate of an RN School of Nursing.

Current California RN License.

Current BLS, ACLS, PALS through the American Heart Association (AHA).

Preferred: GI Circulator experience preferred.

Scrub Tech experience.

Bachelor degree in health related field preferred
