Staffmark has a full-time position for an experienced Safety Environmental Health Manager for our manufacturing client in Sun Valley, CA. Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in a safety and health role.
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage safety and environmental programs.
- Reporting experience is essential.
- Strong understanding of federal and state OSHA regulations.
- Willingness to travel to various plant locations.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee all aspects of the safety culture, fostering a proactive approach to risk prevention.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
- Coordinate and deliver safety training programs to production personnel.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with federal and state safety and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with government agencies, legal counsel, and inter-company personnel regarding safety and environmental matters.
- Provide support and guidance to production personnel on safety and environmental best practices.
- Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near misses.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety and environmental documentation.
Salary: $90,000 - $100,000
1st Shift: Monday - Friday
