Summary:
This Clerkship Coordinator (Medical Education Administrative Support (Years 3 and 4)) will work with the rest of the UME team to administer the Undergraduate Medical Education programs at the Connecticut Branch Campus for UVM and the other medical schools using this campus for third and fourth year courses. Responsibilities will include: students schedules, collecting student grades and evaluations, collecting data relevant to accreditation, supporting the clerkship directors in their educational activities and administering the NBME Shelf examinations.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee schedules for assigned clerkships.
2. Administer NBME Shelf Exams.
3. Collect and collate date regarding students and faculty evaluations.
4. Assist in the adaptation of existing syllabus material to fit Ct Branch Campus format.
5. Coordinate end of clerkship Clinical Skills Exams.
6. Track and assist students in entering required data and assignments.
7. Organize and coordinate activities for fourth year students Appling to residency programs.
8. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related tot he position.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree required.
Experience in higher education is preferred, but not necessary
Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Desired: Previous experience with educational evaluations and accreditation
