We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to support our Partnerships Platform and API Core teams.

In this role, we are looking for someone excited to support a dynamic, high performing team of engineers. We are looking for a leader who can help drive the technical strategy of platform teams whose work has broad impact across Mailchimp’s data ingestion capabilities. This person will help define quality and excellence across a technically complex space.

  • Work with the Tech Partnerships and Engineering Department leadership to drive the technical and strategic roadmap in the API and Partnerships+Integrations space
  • Continually prioritize and assess the value proposition for each deliverable we’re investing in.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers working with a wide number of stakeholders and collaborators.
  • Foster candid conversations around processes and ways of doing work.
  • “Find a way.” Through cross-functional collaboration, technology challenges, and navigating new patterns.
  • Enjoy defining processes and operation across a wide customer base utilizing the same tools and data
  • You have a strong understanding of Cloud Data Infrastructure (GCP / AWS)
  • You’re a strong written and verbal communicator, able to distill and convey complex ideas to audiences with varying levels of technical depth Experience working with cross functional teams
  • Desire to work in a highly-collaborative environment, and actively contribute requirement definition, roadmap planning, team-level office hours, etc.
