Responsibilities
- Coordinating the export of ocean freight shipments from start to finish
- Preparing necessary documents and completing customs clearance procedures
- Communicating with customers, carriers, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of shipments
- Managing shipment exceptions and troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Maintaining accurate records and updating shipment information in the company's system
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Participating in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ocean export operations
- Knowledge of export regulations, procedures, and documentation requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented and organized with strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software, such as CargoWise
- Pet Food knowledge a plus

Salary range - $48,000 - $56,000
