A law firm seeks an experienced Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney to join its team in Omaha, NE. This role involves representing clients in complex insurance coverage disputes, primarily within the commercial insurance industry. The attorney will manage all aspects of litigation, from investigation to resolution, while maintaining open communication with clients. The firm seeks a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in various insurance coverage matters.

Duties

  1. Conduct thorough legal research and provide strategic analysis to support litigation.
  2. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and related legal documents with precision and clarity.
  3. Represent clients during depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
  4. Manage a diverse caseload and ensure timely progression of cases.
  5. Collaborate with partners on high-stakes litigation and provide strategic input.
  6. Maintain consistent communication with clients, opposing counsel, and other key parties.
  7. Participate in case strategy sessions, offering insights and solutions.

Requirements

  1. At least 5 years of experience in handling insurance coverage litigation.
  2. Demonstrated expertise in commercial general liability, pollution liability, marine, directors and officers, professional liability, and errors and omissions insurance matters.
  3. Experience reviewing and analyzing complex insurance policies, drafting coverage evaluations, and reservation of rights letters.
  4. Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and actionable advice.
  5. Licensed to practice law in the state of Nebraska.

Education

  1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with a strong academic background.

Certifications

  1. Active bar admission in Nebraska.
