Premier Sales Group is looking for a passionate and motivated Territory Sales Manager to join our company. This person will use their knowledge of building material products to connect with established and new customers. As a Territory Sales Manager, your main responsibility will be to professionally develop relationships with established and new clients to increase sales and create new business opportunities.

  • Direct selling to established customers and developing new customer prospects by cold calling and traveling in your territory and having face-to-face meetings.
  • Understand all the prospects’ needs, problems or wants and work with the wholesalers to create the ultimate customer service experience for the accounts.
  • Proactively create opportunities for new business.
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs.
  • Investigate leads and find out about them as much as possible before contacting them.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships to continue and ensure a base of profitable industrial business.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule by planning and executing the sales plan in the defined territory.
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
  • Continuously improve through feedback.
  • Attend the annual builders show.

Qualifications

  • Flexible on experience working as a Sales Representative or a similar role if you have an outgoing natural sales personality.
  • Experienced in business-to-business sales, or within our industry preferred.
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success. Team Player.
  • Good knowledge of after-build building supplies.
  • Ability to network and build strong lasting relationships with clients.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Critical thinker, excellent problem-solving skills, organizational skills, ability to multitask and time management skills are very important.
  • Capable of managing an assigned Book of Business.
  • Must possess a current and valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company’s insurance carrier.
  • High school diploma. Prefer Bachelors’ degree from an accredited university or college but not required with experience.

Compensation

  • This is a commission-based position that has an established book. You will be taking over the territory and will continue to seamlessly work with current clients and establish new business within your territory.
