Family Connector Job Description
Join us as a Family Connector and play a vital role in strengthening the Jewish community in Palm Beach County. This part-time, flexible position is perfect for parents looking to engage with other families raising Jewish children and build lasting connections within their kehillah (community).
As a Family Connector, you'll identify and engage families in your neighborhood, creating welcoming gatherings and meet-ups that foster meaningful relationships. Your work will involve sharing PJ Library-inspired content with families raising children from newborn to eight years old, creating memorable Jewish moments that go beyond the books. By facilitating these connections, you'll help families build bonds that strengthen their ties to Judaism and to one another.
This role is essential to fulfilling the Jewish value of kehillah, bringing people together to form a supportive and vibrant community. Averaging 20 hours per month, the position is flexible and comes with the guidance and mentorship of the Family Engagement Officer.
Families today seek connection- in neighborhood-based settings, led by peers who share similar backgrounds and values. Through your efforts, they'll learn about Jewish traditions, local resources, and how to integrate these experiences into their lives.

Over the two-year commitment, you'll gain valuable insights into Jewish life, leadership, and community engagement in the Greater Palm Beaches, empowering you to continue contributing to the community long after the program ends.
