Responsibilities
- Hybrid position - Candidate must be local to the DC/Metro area.
- Lead a team of business development executives to build and prosecute a strong pipeline of Space opportunities across the DoD and Intelligence Community.
- Work closely with the leadership team at Peraton in the development of the growth strategy and be responsible for the execution of the strategy.
- Support organic growth of the NSS business through engagement with program managers and government customers.
- Develop executive call plans to promote Peraton capabilities and identify opportunities to generate on-contract growth.
- Work closely with the VP of Business Development Space and Intelligence, VP/GM of the Business Unit, and other Executives to support growth of the overall pipeline and provide support to the capture activities for large business pursuits.
- Lead high priority business pursuits from assessment through proposal. Provide hands-on BD management for all aspects of the pursuit, capture, and proposal execution.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS and 18+ years of experience (or MS and 16+ years), with at least six plus years as a manager of staff.
- 12+ years of experience working with the Space and/or Intelligence Communities.
- A strong understanding of the DoD and/or Intelligence Community Space missions and operations with relevant industry and government relationships.
- Experience developing corporate wide growth strategies and strategic plans to grow a National Security Space business.
- Proven experience in business development and capture management, supporting the development of opportunity pipelines and leading captures of $100M+.
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Master's degree.
- TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- PMP certification.
$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
