Job Summary

The Inside Sales Executive, Client SMB (Small Market Business) calls on and sells Paycor’s products and services to existing small market clients within a directly assigned territory. They are responsible for executing the entire sales process including lead generation, needs assessment, technical product demonstration, pricing, and deal submission. They are responsible for self-generating leads through prospecting, telemarketing, sales database management, and other lead sourcing activities. They are also responsible for following up on leads generated by Marketing initiatives and Client Services activities. They rebuild the customer relationship by reselling the benefits and value of Paycor’s products and services along with identifying their unstated needs, selling any missing lines of business to the customer, and making account changes as necessary. The Inside Sales Executive, Client SMB is a self-starter who is responsible for achieving assigned monthly and annual sales quotas.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  1. Conduct outbound phone calls to current Paycor clients to assess the client’s need for specific Paycor products and services
  2. Demonstrate mastery of solution selling and negotiation skills
  3. Conduct effective product demonstrations
  4. Achieve or exceed agreed upon sales activity
  5. Track calling activity, pipeline status and sales results in Salesforce as required
  6. Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal business partners, including: Sales leadership, Marketing, Sales Operations, other Sales channels, Clients Services, and Implementation
  7. Consistently and accurately forecast current and future sales results
  8. Achieve or exceed assigned monthly and annual sales quotas

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  1. Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business or business-related field
  2. 2-3+ years proven track record of related work experience preferred
  3. Proven ability to drive the sales process from prospecting to close
  4. Success managing a complex sales process (multiple stakeholders, competing requirements, etc.)
  5. Able to excel in a fast paced work environment
  6. Excellent interpersonal, communications, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills
  7. Demonstrated business acumen and boardroom presence
  8. Familiarity with Paycor’s entire product suite and ability to effectively demonstrate Paycor’s products strongly preferred

We also offer competitive compensation determined by each individual's relevant experience, skills, and education. We anticipate the base pay for this position to be between $xx,xxx-xx,xxx. In addition to base pay, Paycor Associates are eligible for either a performance-based annual bonus or commission, depending on their position.
