Job Details
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of all tax returns, including corporate, individual, partnerships, S-Corps, and C-Corps.
  • Conduct tax research and analysis to identify tax planning opportunities and ensure compliance with GAAP and other accounting standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on tax-related issues and assist with tax planning initiatives.
  • Manage and oversee all tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely tax reporting and compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate any changes to internal stakeholders.
  • Manage and oversee the tax team and provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, taxation, or a related field. (Masters preferred)
  • CPA certification is required.
  • 6+ years of experience in tax accounting and compliance, preferably in the public accounting industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and taxation laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
