IMEG is Hiring a Senior Civil Engineer in Southern California

IMEG, one of the largest design consulting firms in the U.S., is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their Southern California Civil team. The ideal candidate will provide leadership, mentoring, and training to junior staff in technical, project management, marketing, or business development aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for complete design on projects of all sizes
2. Makes major design decisions independently
3. Plans design work and assigns duties to staff
4. Reviews junior staff's correspondence
5. Participates in quality control

Technical Path:

• Contributes to leadership in Technical Operations Team
• Analyzes technical problems and provides assistance on field issues

Project Management Path:

• Serves as Project Manager on complex projects
• Identifies prospective clients and prepares proposals

Key Skills Required:

• Leadership in either Technical or Project Management Path
• Mastery of technical aspects
• Ability to mentor, motivate, and lead
• Final quality control check
• Strong communication skills

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer license
• Minimum 8 years of experience

Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $135,000.00/year
