BASIC DUTIES:
As a Medical Assistant, the ideal candidate will deliver outstanding patient care throughout the entirety of our patients' visits, encompassing:
1. Patient Triage, Registration, and Intakes:

  • Efficiently manage patient flow by conducting triage, obtaining patient information, and completing the registration process.
  • Gather essential patient data, including medical history, and accurately record it in our electronic health record system.
2. Direct Patient Care - Pre-Op, Post-Op, and Patient Release:
  • Assist healthcare professionals in preparing patients for procedures, including taking vital signs, performing IVs, and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Provide attentive post-operative care, monitoring patients' recovery, and addressing any concerns or needs.
  • Facilitate a smooth and informed patient release process, providing clear discharge instructions and follow-up care information.
To ensure our Medical Assistants are fully equipped to excel in their roles, we offer a comprehensive training program that covers all necessary skills and competencies required for success in this position.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent work experience
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NCMA, or CCMA)
  • Bilingual - English and Spanish.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency and knowledge of electronic health records (EHR).
  • Goal driven. Responsible and accountable; individually and as part of a team.
