The company is a premier provider of structural steel and miscellaneous metal solutions, committed to quality, safety, and innovative design. With a diverse portfolio of projects, serving the commerical, institutional, municipal, and manufacturing industries, we are looking to expand our team with a talented estimator. Having invested significantly into automation of the fabrication shop, we now have the capabilities of producing up to 30 tons of steel a day. With the expansion of their fabrication capabilities, they have caught the attention of major GC's not just regionally but nationally and need to add a talented Estimator to help lead the team.
Estimating Role:
We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel/Miscellaneous Metal Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating for both structural steel and miscellaneous metal projects, along with a keen attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate and competitive bids.

We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel/Miscellaneous Metal Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating for both structural steel and miscellaneous metal projects, along with a keen attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate and competitive bids.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and contract documents.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for structural steel and miscellaneous metal projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers, detailers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimates and bid proposals.
- Maintain updated pricing databases for materials and labor rates.
- Conduct site visits to evaluate project conditions and requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and presentations for clients.
- Experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of estimating experience in structural steel and miscellaneous metals.
- Preferred experience in Tekla EPM.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and best practices.
