Summary This position is part of the Office of Nuclear Energy - Headquarters, Department of Energy. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will be responsible for managing Nuclear Energy's University program and other competitive solicitations. Responsibilities As a Management and Program Analyst, you will: Provide authoritative advice for both the Nuclear Energy University Program (NEUP) and the University Nuclear Leadership Program (UNLP). Manage the provide financial and program award portfolio oversight and management of the Nuclear Energy University Program (NEUP) and the University Nuclear Leadership Program (UNLP). Provide development and evaluation, technical expert input on competitive solicitations, and directing laboratory staff for Nuclear Energy University Program (NEUP) and the University Nuclear Leadership Program (UNLP) Collaborate with others on communicating frequently with stakeholders, writing budget justifications, delivering programs' presentations to senior management Support nuclear energy research and equipment upgrades at U.S. colleges and universities and provides student educational support. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications For the GS-12 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-11 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting ALL of the following: Conducting analysis to assist in the development of budget requests for resource requirements to accomplish solicitations. Providing analysis and feedback on administrative policies and processed for use in the management and direction of the Nuclear Energy University Program NEUP and the University Nuclear Leadership Program. Assisting higher level management with the Nuclear Energy University Program NEUP and the University Nuclear Leadership Program needs. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting ALL of the following: Conducting analysis of manpower and resource allocation to assist with soliciation operations. Providing technical guidance and advice on methods or procedure of analysis and evaluation to accomplish the Nuclear Energy University Program NEUP and the University Nuclear Leadership Program strategy. Advising on the Nuclear Energy University Program NEUP and the University Nuclear Leadership Program policies and procedures "Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience.
