Here, you will make an impact by:Manage and lead the daily activities for one of the largest and diverse portfolios in AAD in the USAC Area as the AAD USAC Abrasives Area Portfolio LeaderWork cross functionally with Area activation / sales / technical / supply chain / leadership to attain OP level sales in the Area.Conduct sales / volume / pricing analysis to help optimize decisions and programs for the Area businessDevelop and conduct analysis leading to updates on the Areas performance and strategy / operational tactics / programs to drive growth in line with OP expectationsPlay a key role & be the business lead on any NPI programs for the Area to bring new products to market on time / in full to drive growthAssist and lead the insights / innovation hoppering for future NPIs for the businessBe able to make decisions and execute on hard topics and build consensus cross functionally in the Area to deliver resultsBe able to lead portfolio training for both internal Area teams and external customers with some hands-on capability at times in conjunction with your Area AE / business teamsDrive SKU creation or extension process with Global MCE team for NPIs or CMPs at the source of supply locationHelp facilitate global field or concept tests for the portfolioYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionThree (3) years of business and or portfolio marketing experience in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Master's degree in MBA in Business / Marketing from an accredited institutionFive (5) years of Business Leadership and or Portfolio / Marketing Leadership in a private, public, government or military environmentSkills include: Microsoft Office, Power BI and BEP analysis tools, Cross functional communication and leadership experience, working on NPI commercialization efforts including gathering customer feedback through launch of products, presentation skills across an organization.Work location: Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid) with some travel needed for customer interaction as well as interaction with the USAC team in St. Paul periodicallyTravel: May include up to 30% domestic travelRelocation Assistance: Not authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially.
