Mortgage Loan Originator

Position Summary:

An employee in this role is responsible for generating new mortgage transactions for the bank. They work closely with loan applicants to match them with the appropriate mortgage program and assist in gathering required documentation. The Mortgage Loan Originator also develops referral relationships with real estate professionals and other sources to proactively solicit new business.

Compensation:

• This role offers an hourly base of $12.80 to $16.96, along with commission.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years experience in mortgage loan origination
• Thorough knowledge of mortgage products, pricing, and underwriting requirements
• Understanding of federal lending regulations and residential mortgage processing
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Outlook and ability to travel
• NMLS registration required
