- Complete all revenue accounting activities and tasks required to post revenue to the general ledger from the external billing system; responsible for all revenue accounting close efforts including accruals.
- Review sales and revenue information for accuracy and completeness.
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reviews and reconciliations to ensure revenue recognition is compliant with GAAP and other applicable regulations and practices.
- Assist in the year-end audit process actively working with external auditors to ensure that the interpretation of revenue recognition accounting standards is consistent and compliant with GAAP.
- Assist in preparing accurately and timely financial statements.
- Proactively resolve all revenue related issues.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and general ledger maintenance.
- Analyze revenue performance and analytics to identify risks and opportunities for improvements to the revenue cycle.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management reports and schedules, worksheets and narratives, including "Budget vs Actual" variance reports and analyzing and documenting significant variance.
- Abide by all regulatory guidance and internal policies and procedures.
- Document policies, procedures and workflow for assigned areas of responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Previous experience with Sage Intacct preferred
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of ASC 606
- Previous healthcare experience preferred

- Employee must be able to constantly operate computers, phones, and other office equipment.
- Employee must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
- Due to the collaborative nature of the business and the need to service customers, the employee must be able to interact effectively with others in an office environment, manage conflict, and handle stressful situations and deadlines.
- Requires desk work in office environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet deadlines.
